Shady Spring has gone 6-1 against Princeton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Shady Spring hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oak Hill struck out six times.
Meanwhile, Princeton didn't have quite enough to beat Greenbrier East on Tuesday and fell 7-5. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly two runs.
Zoey Agnew was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Shy Richardson, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Shady Spring, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.
