Rusk won the last time they faced Madisonville and things went their way on Friday too. The Rusk Eagles came out on top against the Madisonville Mustangs by a score of 7-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Rusk's victory bumped their record up to 9-6-1. As for Madisonville, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rusk will head out to square off against Center at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madisonville, they will head out on the road to take on Palestine at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Palestine has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight runs per game on average), something Madisonville will no doubt try to take advantage of.
