After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Albany, the West Feliciana Saints were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They strolled past Sumner with points to spare, taking the game 56-41. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for West Feliciana's 21-point performance the matchup before.
Leading West Feliciana to victory were Arieonia Ebbs and Sanaya Berry. Ebbs scored 18 points, while Berry scored 22 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Berry has scored at least 25% of West Feliciana's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Harmony White, who scored 6 points.
West Feliciana's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Sumner, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
West Feliciana will be playing at home against Opelousas at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sumner, they will head out on the road to face off against Franklinton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
