On Thursday, Westlake take on Oxnard at 5:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Everything went Westlake's way against Mission Hills last Thursday as they made off with a 46-14 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Westlake had established a 40-14 advantage.
Oxnard came within a touchdown against Quartz Hill last week, but wound up with a 6-18 loss.
Westlake's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Oxnard's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Westlake can add another positive mark to their record or if Oxnard can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Westlake's step.
