Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hemlock). They took down the Calvary Baptist Academy Kings 55-39 on Thursday.

Calvary Baptist Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Braydon Schwartzkopf, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. That's the most boards Schwartzkopf has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Charlie VanBeek, who posted four points in addition to seven boards and five assists.

Hemlock now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Valley Lutheran the next time they take the court. Hemlock will head out to face Valley Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Calvary Baptist Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th.
