After a string of three wins, Chambers's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 73-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ragin' Bulls apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Chambers' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Hickory Ridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Chambers will be playing in front of their home fans against West Mecklenburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hickory Ridge, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Jay M. Robinson at 7:30 p.m. on December 5.
