Millis hasn't had much luck against Bellingham recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Mohawks will be playing at home against the Blackhawks at 4:00 p.m. The last three games Millis has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Friday, Millis narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Hopedale 5-4. That's two games straight that the Mohawks have won by just one run.

Millis saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Hohman, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave Hohman a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Bellingham got the win against Douglas on Friday by a conclusive 10-1.
Payton Young spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 12 Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brock Barry, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Ryan Visconti, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Bellingham hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Douglas struck out 12 times.
Bellingham's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Millis, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Millis has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Bellingham struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Millis came out on top in a nail-biter against Bellingham in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-1. Will the Mohawks repeat their success, or do the Blackhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
