Hough went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base, while Bartlett went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Hough has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Emma Jarrell was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, DeQuincy entered their contest against Rosepine on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tigers fell 6-3 to the Eagles.
Maddie Vinatieri spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits.
