In what's become a running theme this season, the Calvary Christian Lions gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Dunellen 67-38 at home. The victory was nothing new for Calvary Christian as they're now sitting on three straight.
Dunellen's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joel Cruz, who scored eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Hutchins, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Calvary Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. As for Dunellen, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.
Calvary Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Veritas Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on February 21st. As for Dunellen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kennedy Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dunellen is facing Kennedy Memorial at the right time seeing as Kennedy Memorial is stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
