The Grafton Bearcats posted their biggest win since December 20, 2023 on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fairmont Senior 65-30 on the road. Grafton has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.
Leading Grafton to victory were Kenna Keener and Hadley Horne. Keener dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds, while Horne scored 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Horne has scored at least a third of Grafton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazy Ray, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Grafton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. As for Fairmont Senior, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grafton will take on North Marion at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Marion has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 206 points over their last three matches. As for Fairmont Senior, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on East Fairmont at 2:00 p.m. on February 3rd.
