Jailen Nesbit gave up the fewest earned runs he has over his last two games on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

Even though Nesbit couldn't lead Zeeland East over South Lyon, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sadly, Nesbit's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Chix's five-game streak of wins at home.
