Meanwhile,  Carpenter   struck out six batters over  3.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances. At bat,  Morris  went 2-for-4 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI, while  Carpenter  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and one  double. That's the most  hits  Morris has posted since back in March.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact as  six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Waylan Marshall, who  went 1-for-4 with one  home run.
 Potlatch  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Prairie only managed four  hits.
