Liberty County waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Johnson Atomsmashers with points to spare, taking the game 35-20. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.
Elijah Brown was his usual excellent self, rushing for 220 yards and three scores while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.
Despite the loss, Johnson still got an impressive performance from Shamari King, who rushed for 84 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 153 yards and a pair of TDs. A healthy portion of that aerial production (97 yards to be exact) went to Jamauri Johnson, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Liberty County's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Johnson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
