Castle's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adler Mcatee, who scored 17 points along with seven assists and four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Mcatee, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds.
Evansville Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Landyn Richason, who scored 15 points along with six assists and three steals. The contest was Richason's third in a row with at least ten points. Kyler Hill was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Even though they lost, Evansville Central were working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
The win got Castle back to even at 5-5. As for Evansville Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
Castle will square off against Brownsburg at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Evansville Central, they will square off against Springfield Southeast at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Springfield Southeast's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matchups.
