While Melvindale didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. The win was just business as usual for the Cardinals, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

Melvindale pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Garden City, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Melvindale will venture away from home to take on Crestwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
