A Season-Best Performance from Hayezon Jackson Leads Clayton Valley Charter over Las Lomas
Hayezon Jackson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Clayton Valley Charter to the win on Friday. Jackson rushed for 224 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (110.7). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.
The win was the third in a row for Clayton Valley Charter, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. Jackson and Clayton Valley Charter will welcome Acalanes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Josh Elerts Turns in Season-Best Effort
Josh Elerts produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Acalanes to the win on Friday. Elerts rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making a tackle.
Acalanes' win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Elerts and Acalanes will face off against Clayton Valley Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Roman Mercado's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Las Lomas over Clayton Valley Charter
While Las Lomas might've come up empty on Friday, Roman Mercado wasn't going down without a fight. Nobody could stop Mercado as he picked up 192 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
If history really does repeat itself, Mercado might just drop another big game when he faces off against Campolindo on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Mercado saw the Cougars), he picked up 204 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Miramonte's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. Blair and Miramonte will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Las Lomas at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.
