The Riverview Sarasota Rams are taking a road trip to  take on the Palmetto Tigers  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Riverview Sarasota lost  15-7 to Lakewood Ranch. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
  JR Hudson and  Caiden Cabral did some serious damage despite the final result:  Hudson  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4, while  Cabral  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. Meanwhile,  it was a proper cat-fight when  Palmetto faced off against Buchholz on Friday. Palmetto came up short against  Buchholz, falling  12-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Tigers have suffered  since March 1, 2024.
  Christian Cole was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with four  RBI and one  double. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Blake Willis, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 This is the second loss in a row for Palmetto and  nudges their season record down to 2-8. As for Riverview Sarasota, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
