Jackson Miles and Xay Lee certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Miles dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while Lee scored nine points along with eight rebounds. It was the first time this season that Miles pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Shreveport HomeSchool Sports found their leader in underclassman Patrick Bennett, who scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Aidan Armstrong, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
NELA Christian Homeschool's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Shreveport HomeSchool Sports, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-12 record this season.
NELA Christian Homeschool will head out on the road to challenge the at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Mount Olive Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Monday. As for Shreveport HomeSchool Sports, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Force at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
