Springdale came into Monday's   matchup having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview.  Alex Wylly was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He is becoming a predictor of Springdale's success: when he allows at  most one  hit the team is 3-1 (and 1-8 when he doesn't). Wylly was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  RBI. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in March.
 In other batting news,  Joseph Loebig was  incredible,  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. That  double marked the first that  he has  hit this season. Another player making a difference was  Cameron Orait, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases and one  run.
 Springdale  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .513. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Springdale's record is now 4-9. As for Carlynton,  they are  on  a  13-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-16.
Springdale will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cougars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
