High Point Academy hasn't had much luck against Landrum recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Grizzlies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cardinals  at 6:45  p.m. High Point Academy will be strutting in after a  victory while Landrum will be coming in after a  loss.
High Point Academy will bounce into Tuesday's   matchup after  beating Liberty, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Red Devils on Thursday. The Grizzlies not only won  on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win  since September 4th (when they won  3-0).
 High Point Academy walked away with the   win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-10,  25-21.
High Point Academy can attribute much of their success to  Angie Demidovich, who  had 14  digs and two  assists.
 High Point Academy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 12  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in five consecutive  contests.
Meanwhile, Landrum suffered their biggest  defeat since September 24, 2024 on Thursday. They lost  3-0 to Chesnee.
 Landrum may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 18 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18,  25-18.
 High Point Academy pushed their record up to 9-11 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Landrum, their loss dropped their record down to 19-8-2.
