Ellington/Somers led Pequot - North in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Enfield. Joseph Leslie threw for 131 yards and 1 touchdown, ran for 101 yards and caught 1 pass for 13 yards during the win.
Windsor Locks/Suffield/East Granby made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,953 from 10,780. The improvement was largely due to a 19-8 victory over Nonnewaug last week.
Leslie provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Knights beat the Raiders. Leslie's favorite target this week was Mike Casciano, who caught 3 passes for 77 yards.
Jarvis Miller was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 10 carries, he ran for 150 yards as the Wildcats topped the Chiefs. Jake Lareau also contributed to the rushing game with 61 yards on the ground.
Cromwell's Mavric Pelletier and Jarius Bailey led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Pelletier has thrown for 736 yards this season, while Bailey has 22 catches for 271 yards. Windsor Locks/Suffield/East Granby's Miller leads the league in rushing yards with 653.
