The Lone Jack Mules can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They managed a 41-36 win over Midway. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lone Jack also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Leading Lone Jack to victory were Tyler Carpenter and Garrett Mantzey. Carpenter scored nine points along with eight rebounds and two steals, while Mantzey scored 13 points along with four steals. Quintin Miller was another key contributor, scoring six points.
The win got Lone Jack back to even at 7-7. As for Midway, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
Lone Jack won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for Midway, they will be playing at home against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rich Hill presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Vikings in Missouri (the Tigers are ranked 184th, while the Vikings are ranked 504th).
