With a playoff game on the line, the Gulf Shores Dolphins rose to the challenge on Friday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 45-0 victory over the Tigers. The win was just business as usual for Gulf Shores, who after 14 games remain undefeated this season.
Kolin Wilson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 269 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.2 yards per carry. Wilson's longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards. Another player making a difference was Ronnie Royal, who rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
Gulf Shores has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 14-0 record. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.11 points. As for Eufaula, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.
Gulf Shores will take on Ramsay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ramsay is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Eufaula does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
