Volleyball Recap: Hanover Gets the Win

Hanover won the last time they faced Axtell and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Hanover didn't let Axtell take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23.

Hanover's offense was headlined by Drew Bruna and Gracie Bruna, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Katie Holle and her 23 assists. Gracie was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Hanover's victory bumped their record up to 25-7. As for Axtell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-13 record this season.

Hanover has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Onaga on the 14th. As for Axtell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Blue Valley on the 11th.
