McDade suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 50-24 walloping at the hands of North Zulch. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for McDade in their matchups with North Zulch: they've now lost five in a row.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jessica Dube, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Summer Jacobs, who scored six points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Dime Box's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Fayetteville, falling 52-20. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Dime Box has suffered against Fayetteville since January 17, 2020.
McDade has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Dime Box, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.
McDade came up short against Dime Box in their previous matchup on January 2nd, falling 36-30. Can McDade avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
