Adding to the longest winning streak in 4A District 1 this week, Walton beat Holmes County 46-7. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Florida State University moved up to 232 from 285 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Seminoles were able to move up by topping Leon 35-21.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Florida State University's Ronnie Harrison and Andres DeTorres have proven to be a lethal combination. Harrison has thrown for 569 yards this season, while DeTorres, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 9 catches for 145 yards. Teon Long from Marianna leads the league in rushing with 516 yards.
