Columbus had enough points to win and then some against Vinton-Shellsburg on Friday, taking their matchup 51-33. The success made it back-to-back wins for Columbus.
The victory bumped Columbus' record up to 3-1. Vinton-Shellsburg are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Columbus will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Oelwein. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games. As for Vinton-Shellsburg, they will face off against Nevada.
