Lindale made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,009 from 3,133.
Whitehouse's Patrick Mahomes and Dylan Cantrell have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 4A Region II District 16 in both passing and receiving yards. Mahomes has thrown for 1493 yards this season, while Cantrell, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 28 catches for 529 yards. Corsicana's Devontay Bell leads the league in rushing yards with 354.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Wildcats take on the Eagles. At the moment, Whitehouse is in first, while Lindale is in fourth.
