The Serrano Diamondbacks lost against the Burroughs Burros back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Serrano fell to Burroughs 52-48. Serrano has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Burroughs to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cory Kent, who scored 14 points. Eduardo Perez was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six steals.
Serrano's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Burroughs, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8.
Serrano will head out on the road to take on Hesperia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hesperia will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Burroughs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sultana at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sultana is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
