The State Line HomeSchool R Rush have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 28 points or more this season. They took their game on the road on Thursday with ease, bagging a 60-31 win over Surry HomeSchool. That result was just more of the same for these two, as State Line HomeSchool R also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Aden Clark continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 35 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. The contest was her eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Wolfe, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
State Line HomeSchool R's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Surry HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. State Line HomeSchool R will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Greater Cabarrus S at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Surry HomeSchool will be home for the holidays to greet Alamance Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alamance Christian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
