The Horseshoe Bend Generals suffered their biggest defeat since November 28, 2023 on Monday. They were the victim of a tough 65-45 loss at the hands of LaFayette. Horseshoe Bend has not had much luck with LaFayette recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
It was another big night for Deaundra Vines, who scored 18 points along with eight steals and seven assists for LaFayette. The team also got some help courtesy of Vaderrian Story, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Horseshoe Bend has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for LaFayette, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.
