Snyder will be defending their home turf for the first time on Saturday when they go up against Caldwell at 1:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Snyder found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-37 punch to the gut against Orange last week. This makes it the second loss in a row for Snyder.
Meanwhile, Caldwell had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-35 to Verona. Caldwell were down by 0-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
