The Diman RVT Bengals will challenge the Case Cardinals at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
On Thursday, Diman RVT got the win against Southeastern RVT by a conclusive 12-3. The victory continues a trend for the Bengals in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won six in a row.
Karter Perreira made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
In other pitching news, Cole Teixeira looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Diman RVT is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-5 otherwise.

Back at the plate, Diman RVT got a massive performance out of Cameron Falcon, who went 4-for-5 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave Falcon a new career-high. Owen DoRego was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles.
Diman RVT was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .486. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, Case made sure to put some runs up on the board against West Bridgewater on Friday. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 10-1 win.
Austin Silva spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Case let Jett Vadeboncoeur and Aedan Borges run wild. Vadeboncoeur went a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Borges went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those stolen bases were Vadeboncoeur's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jacob Weisburgh, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Case now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Diman RVT, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Diman RVT skirted past Case 2-1 in their previous matchup back in May of 2019. Will the Bengals repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
