Eric Cisneros Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Palmer's Eric Cisneros, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Cisneros rushed for 159 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 228 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.3 rushing touchdowns per game.
This year, Cisneros has thrown 18 touchdowns (and and only 3 pick) while averaging 236.8 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he had three rushing touchdowns.

Pottsboro picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Cayden Humphrey. Humphrey turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 140 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 87 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 121 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Pottsboro's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Humphrey and Pottsboro will head out on the road to take on Palmer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Brayden Bomar Leads Whitesboro over Life Oak Cliff
On Friday, Whitesboro got the W thanks in part to Brayden Bomar playing the best football he has all season. Bomar picked up 97 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
