After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cardinal Gibbons, the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart Cyclones were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They walked away with a 44-36 win over Palmetto.
Palmetto's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ale Falcon, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds, and Sami Anes who scored six points along with 15 rebounds and five steals. The game was Falcon's eighth in a row with at least ten points.
Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Palmetto, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart will be home for the holidays to greet Killian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Killian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 15 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. Palmetto won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Homestead at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Homestead will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
