On South Beloit's side, Whitney Schnack made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Schnack has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Taniyah Crawford was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Natalia Cassaro, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.
