University came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Mead Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won three contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

University's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Mead, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. University is set to square off against their familiar foe Mt. Spokane at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th. Meanwhile, Mead will take on rival Cheney at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th.
