The Kell Longhorns will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Greeneville Greene Devils at 8:30 p.m. on December 26th. Kell has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 449 points over their last six matchups.
Kell is ranked highly in their home state, and on Tuesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of North Broward Prep. It was close, but Kell ultimately received the gift of a 62-59 win from a begrudging Longhornssquad. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Greeneville has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 53-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Summerville on Friday. While losing is never fun, Greeneville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 49th in Tennessee, while Summerville is ranked fifth in South Carolina).
Kell's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Greeneville, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
