Rochester STEM Academy suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Goodhue 99-38. While losing is never fun, Rochester STEM Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 408th, while Goodhue is ranked 172nd).
Despite the loss, Rochester STEM Academy had strong showings from Saeed Mohamed, who scored 14 points, and Ilyas Hassan, who scored ten points.
Chesterton Academy fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They beat North Lakes Academy on Tuesday by the very same score they won with last week: 45-41.
Rochester STEM Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Chesterton Academy, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8.
