The Shadow Ridge Stallions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 73-23 victory over Boulder Creek. That 73-23 margin sets a new team best for Shadow Ridge this season.
Leading Shadow Ridge to victory were Danica Lindemann and Aalayah Ramirez. Lindemann scored 20 points along with six assists and three steals, while Ramirez scored 21 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Holub, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Shadow Ridge's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-6. As for Boulder Creek, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shadow Ridge will take on Tolleson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Boulder Creek, they will be playing at home against Queen Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Queen Creek comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last eight games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
