The Hockaday Daisies suffered their biggest defeat since November 14, 2023 on Tuesday. They were the victim of a tough 51-27 defeat at the hands of Prestonwood Christian. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hockaday in their matchups with Prestonwood Christian: they've now lost four in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Kierstin Rink, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Londyn Oliphant, who scored ten points along with six assists and three steals.
Hockaday now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Prestonwood Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hockaday will stay at home for another game and welcome Episcopal School of Dallas at 4:45 p.m. on February 2nd. Prestonwood Christian will take on Bishop Lynch at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Lynch is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
