 Boulder got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Cole Morrow out in front who  went 10 of 21 on his way to 31 points and six  rebounds. Morrow is also crushing it when it comes to  steals: he's   grabbed at least two every time he's  taken the court this season.  Lake Smith was another key player,  going 6 for 12 on his way to 14  points in addition to eight  boards and six  assists.
Meanwhile, Horizon had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Eagles, posting  a  68-32 victory. That looming  68-32 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Hawks yet this  season.
 Boulder better focus on containing  Boaz Wisne and  Aiden Greene as the pair were huge in Horizon's win. Wisne  almost  dropped  a double-double on 24 points and nine  rebounds, while  Greene  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and 11  rebounds. Those 11  boards gave  Greene a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Carter Marsh, who  posted seven  points and four  steals.
 Horizon's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Boulder,  the  victory  got them back to even at 2-2.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as  the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Boulder hasn't had any problem running up the score this season,  having  averaged 69.2  points per game. However, it's not like Horizon struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 59 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
