The Warren Central Dragons and the Butler County Bears will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kentucky (Warren Central is ranked 82nd, while the Bears are ranked 67th).
After soaring to a 31-point win in their last game, Warren Central came back down to earth on Saturday. They fell just short of Elizabethtown by a score of 49-46. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Warren Central has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Butler County can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They put the hurt on Barren County with a sharp 88-68 win. Winning may never get old, but Butler County sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Butler County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ty Price out in front who scored 31 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Price has scored at least a third of Butler County's points. Lawson Rice was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds.
Warren Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Butler County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
