Baseball Recap: Oak Grove Triumphs

Oak Grove took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Southeast Guilford, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Oak Grove Grizzlies came out on top in a nail-biter against the Southeast Guilford Falcons on Wednesday, sneaking past 15-13. The Grizzlies haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Addison Terry was incredible, going 4-for-5 with six RBI and one double. Carson Everhart was another key player, scoring four runs while going 3-for-5.

Oak Grove's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Oak Grove will square off against South Iredell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southeast Guilford, they will take on Grimsley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
