Volleyball Recap: Woodlan Extends Winning Streak to Three

Woodlan had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Antwerp Archers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Warriors not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0).

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 25-19.

Lexie Peoples paced Woodlan's offense, picking up nine kills. Peoples got some help from Tori Crozier and her 20 assists.

Woodlan's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Antwerp, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Woodlan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Heritage on the 27th. Antwerp has also already played their next contest (against Edon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
