KIPP Atlanta Collegiate's 22-8 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were dealt a 45-16 defeat at the hands of North Cobb Christian on Saturday. While losing is never fun, KIPP Atlanta Collegiate can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 513th, while North Cobb Christian is ranked 252nd).
Meanwhile, Therrell was beaten by Tri-Cities 63-13 on Tuesday.
KIPP Atlanta Collegiate's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Therrell, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
KIPP Atlanta Collegiate strolled past Therrell in their previous matchup back in February by a score of 37-19. Will KIPP Atlanta Collegiate repeat their success, or does Therrell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
