Van Horn's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Taylor Martinez led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds. Amy Garcia was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Van Horn has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. As for Sierra Blanca, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
