Meanwhile, Northfield entered their tilt with Kennedy with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. Northfield breezed by Kennedy at home to the tune of 113-49 on Wednesday. Northfield has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 26 points or more this season.
Justus Michael and Daquan Slayton were among the main playmakers for Northfield as the former scored 13 points along with three steals and the latter almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine assists. Slayton is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Jefferson, who scored 12 points.
Denver North is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Northfield, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2.
Denver North lost to Northfield on the road by a decisive 66-50 margin in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Denver North avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
