Holy Names Academy has gone a perfect 7-0 against Nathan Hale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Holy Names Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Nathan Hale at 4:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Holy Names Academy got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They blew past Lincoln 16-5. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for Holy Names Academy this season.

Maria Coussens and Lee Smedstad did most of the damage at the plate: Coussens scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances, while Smedstad scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5. Coussens also got two hits, marking her first of the season. Delanie Gilda was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with four RBI and two runs.

They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: Holy Names Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Nathan Hale lost 18-11 to Seattle Prep on Tuesday. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Ella Fialdini stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-5. Another player making a difference was Francis Shutts, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Nathan Hale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Holy Names Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.

Everything went Holy Names Academy's way against Nathan Hale when the teams last played back in March, as Holy Names Academy made off with a 13-4 win. Does Holy Names Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Nathan Hale turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
