Bolles is a perfect 3-0 against Bishop Snyder since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bolles not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 8, 2024. They never let St. Joseph Academy get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Flashes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Levi Pietschker looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Rylan Baker, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Ford McCarthy was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Bishop Snyder had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Bears.
Cody Boshell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Bishop Snyder's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jack Perry, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Bishop Snyder pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Bolles, their record now sits at 16-7.
Bolles took their victory against Bishop Snyder in their previous matchup back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 9-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
